I’ve been providing services long enough to know that if you give a client an inch, they'll probably take a yard. (PS. no shade to clients, you're wonderful! But we business owners forget to let you in on the deets of our business every now and then)
However, if you have strong policies in place, and thoroughly communicate them to your client BEFORE they ever pay you a penny, it will alleviate so many hassles.
Remember, you need to educate your client not only on service before & after instructions, but also how your business runs. This is your business. You make the rules. If you allow clients to continue to break them, your business will never be the one you could love. And this would be your fault, not theirs.
